Spyros Kimitris Ltd handles the electrical side of machinery and plant installations across Cyprus. We take a project from the drawing board to the final connection - design, study, installation and certification - so you deal with one electrical contractor from start to finish, not three.

Where we work

We carry out electrical machinery installation in hotels, factories, supermarkets, warehouses, apartment buildings and private homes. A production line in a factory and a plant room in an apartment block are very different jobs, and both are ours. From our base in Larnaca we cover the whole of Cyprus.

Design and study

Every project starts on paper. We prepare the electrical design and the study for the installation: load calculations, cable sizing, protection and discrimination, and the layout of the distribution boards. Getting this right before anyone lifts a tool is what keeps an industrial electrical installation safe, expandable and efficient to run.

Installation on site

We then carry out the installation ourselves. Supplies and containment, three phase distribution, panels and sub panels, machine connections, isolation, earthing and bonding, and finally testing and energising. We work to the delivery dates of your machinery, so the power is ready and waiting when the plant arrives rather than the other way round.

Certification

We can issue the certificates required by the Electromechanical Services Department and by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus. Your installation is inspected, tested, signed off and connected by the same company that built it, so you are not left chasing a second firm for the paperwork.
